Michał Stachura is Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance. He is M.Sc. in Mathematics (Jagiellonian University, 1999), and Ph.D. in Economics (University of Lodz, 2005). The scope of his research interests includes the theory and applications of statistics and econometrics in finance, health economics, and broadly understood social sciences. He has been involved in several interdisciplinary research projects in cooperation with various universities and national research institutes, where he applied his econometrics and statistics expertise in geological, legal, and systemic risk studies.
